Our Story: A Letter from the Orchard Med Spa Owners
The Love Story and Origins of Orchard

Our Story
Like most great stories, ours began with a simple dream—just a tiny seed at first. Lisa had always yearned for a beauty and spa business to call her own, a place where she could cultivate both a family and a livelihood. Ted was compelled to support Lisa’s endeavors and was happy to contribute his knowledge of business and finance. Living and working in Castle Rock, Colorado, Lisa was having a grand adventure, falling in love with the majestic mountains and the vibrant community. But after eight years, Lisa grew tired of the hustle of working for someone else.
Together, they longed for something more— something that was truly their own. That tiny seed of a dream began to blossom. Drawing on their knowledge and years of experience, they dove into reading, researching, and crafting a business plan. Slowly but surely, the vision started to take shape. And then, at last, they were ready to put it into action. It was no longer just a dream—it was our dream. Together, we took a leap of faith, placing our savings down as earnest money on the property at 3740 Dacoro Lane, in Castle Rock, CO. We poured our hearts into building Orchard Med Spa from the ground up. With the unwavering love and support of our families (and our bankers), we were able to open our doors in May of 2012, specializing in facial aesthetics.
You might wonder why we chose the name "Orchard Med Spa." It’s a name that carries deep personal significance. Our last name, Manzanares, means “apple orchard” in Spanish, and it reflects Ted's Hispanic American heritage, which stretches back seven generations in Colorado and the Southwest. The orchard symbolizes not only our roots but also our commitment to nurturing growth, both in our family and in the community we serve. Our family has been blessed with two wonderful children—a son and a daughter—who are now grown adults. Just as we’ve watched them grow, we’ve nurtured and grown Orchard Med Spa with the same love and care.
Since that spring of 2012, Orchard Med Spa’s mission has been to provide exceptional, personalized care that enhances the natural beauty and confidence of each client. Over the years, we have grown from a small, intimate practice into a thriving medical spa, employing a dedicated team of professionals and serving countless clients in the Castle Rock community and beyond. We've been honored with numerous awards, achieved platinum status with our industry partners, and expanded our service offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are incredibly grateful to own and work alongside our wonderful team in this amazing place. It is a privilege to share our talents, knowledge, and hearts with the Castle Rock community. We thank you for welcoming us into your lives.
